Pearce is seeking an Advanced Travel Battery Energy Storage System Technician for its ESS division. This role performs O&M and field labor on BESS equipment at commercial and industrial solar projects located across the United States.

The position is 100% travel, often for six weeks at a time, with per diem and potential shifts. You will work with a team to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on-site, including LOTO duties and coordination with vendors and customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical proficiency relating to electrical systems and components.
• 5+ years of Renewable energy experience is preferred.
• A commitment to safety and attention to detail with the ability to recognize potential issues and provide safe solutions.
• Post-secondary education is preferred.
• Electrical certifications are preferred such as OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and NFPA70E.
• Excellent written and verbal skills to meet Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) internal and external requirements is required.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) equipment and work at Data Centers.
• Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) of equipment as an authorized person and under properly performed LOTO conditions.
• Conduct daily safety and task planning discussions including pre-task planning, Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs), and Risk Assessments (RAs).
• Interact with vendors and customers in a professional manner.
• Act as a team member to support site work which could include supervising field work onsite focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
