Job summary

Sonny's BBQ is seeking a Traveling Area Director to lead and develop restaurant teams across multiple markets. The role requires significant travel and will begin in a traveling capacity before a permanent market placement is identified.

You may train in one market while supporting others, with relocation possible for the right long-term opportunity. Responsibilities include overseeing operations, driving profitability, coaching General Managers, and shaping strategy with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience across multiple locations.
• Strong financial acumen to drive sales, profits and EBITDA.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions and provide solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage remote teams and travel.
• Experience with restaurant operations and training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations across markets in collaboration with Director of Operations.
• Drive financial progress and ensure EBITDA targets are met.
• Lead and support General Managers to ensure team success.
• Facilitate hands-on training and leadership development.
• Conduct strategic analyses and align objectives for continuous improvement.
• Build positive workplace culture and strong leadership.
