Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Formal airframe repair training preferred; FAA/FCC licensing desirable.
  • Ability to read and comprehend mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance and travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Performs documentation of maintenance, modification, and repair activities.
  • Perform and conduct routine inspections, special inspections, and troubleshooting; inspect tasks of others as required.
  • Comply with safety and quality regulations and Tyonek policies to ensure program success.
  • Perform aircraft structural repairs and modifications.
  • Fabricate, install, and repair aircraft sheet metal components.
  • Repair skins, frames, stringers, bulkheads, and structural assemblies.
  • Perform corrosion removal and structural repairs.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical orders.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
