Job summary

S&K Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II - Sheet Metal to perform KC-135 aircraft maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, modification, and documentation at Fairchild AFB, WA, with potential TDY to other KC-135 locations.

The role focuses on sheet metal, structural repair, and corrosion-related tasks. Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing aircraft structures, interpreting technical data, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Minimum of three (3) years of aircraft maintenance experience on an Air Force wide-body platform, preferably KC-135.
A&P certification is preferred but not required.
U.S. citizenship and Secret clearance required (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

Inspect, repair, replace, and modify aircraft structures and structural components.
Perform sheet metal layout, drilling, riveting, fastening, trimming, fitting, and related repairs.
Support corrosion identification, prevention, treatment, and repair activities.
Interpret and apply technical orders, drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and inspections.
Document maintenance actions in approved records and systems.
Provide technical guidance or training to less experienced mechanics.
