Job summary

Minds Matter LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support individuals with traumatic brain injury in home and community settings. Under the supervision of a physical therapist, you will plan and deliver targeted interventions to improve functional abilities and reduce debility.

You will document progress, coordinate with case managers, and educate families about goals and outcomes. This role emphasizes evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited PTA program.
• Must have an active PTA license in KS or MO.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and plan PTA interventions for individuals with brain injury.
• Learn and implement Minds Matter LLC philosophy.
• Identify consumer needs and develop compensatory strategies.
• Assist with data collection for assessment and treatment under PT supervision.
• Plan, direct and conduct programs to improve functional performance.
• Maintain treatment records and progress notes according to policy.
• Coordinate with consumer, family and case managers on goals.
• Provide care only as designated in plans and orders.
• Communicate goals and progress to families; educate as needed.
• Attend trainings to stay current with best practices.
