Job summary

Minds Matter is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Overland Park, KS to evaluate, plan and provide therapeutic interventions for individuals with brain injuries, aiming to improve function and independence.

You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to design and direct therapy programs, maintain treatment records, educate families, and coordinate with case managers to ensure goals are met.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited PTA program.
• Must hold an active PTA license in KS or MO.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals to identify needs and develop compensation strategies for brain injury.
• Plan, direct and conduct therapy programs under the Physical Therapist supervision.
• Maintain treatment records and progress notes as required.
• Educate families about brain injury, goals, and progress with the care team.
• Attend trainings to maintain evidence-based practice.
