Job summary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator I to perform clinical research and patient treatment in conjunction with specified protocols.

This role supports MTBI2 studies at BAMC, San Antonio, TX, ensuring adherence to regulatory and ethical standards. Responsibilities include screening patients, data management, coordinating with physicians, and maintaining protocol documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in neuroscience, life sciences, scientific discipline, or equivalent.
• 0-2 years' experience in acute or intensive care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and local regulations governing research with human subjects.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a T1/Public Trust background check.

Responsibilities

• Review new patient records and screen for eligibility for research protocols.
• Collect, organize, and maintain current data files and status reports.
• Serve as liaison between patients and physicians.
• Transcribe and resolve data queries in case report forms.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with Good Clinical Practices.
• Schedule patients for appointments and assist with protocol monitoring.
• Travel to other sites as needed to support protocols.
