Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island is seeking a qualified trauma-focused clinician to provide diagnostic assessments and Trauma Systems Therapy for children and their families. The role includes counseling services for clients and their birth and foster families, plus emergency crisis intervention when needed.

Applicants should be enrolled in a Masters program in human services and hold a Bachelor's degree while pursuing an MSW or related graduate program.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Masters Degree program in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.) is required.
• Must have a Bachelors Degree and be enrolled in an accredited Masters of Social Work, or other graduate counseling program.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic assessments and Trauma Systems Therapy treatment addressing children, families, and foster families.
• Offer counseling services for clients and their birth and foster families and provide emergency crisis intervention as needed.
