Empower Mental Health in Dallas seeks a compassionate Mental Health Therapist (LPC or LCSW) to provide short-term therapy to clients who have suffered personal injuries, such as car accidents. Formación

• Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• State licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or Counselor.
• Specialized training in trauma-focused therapies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the psychological impact of personal injuries.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence-based interventions for trauma, anxiety, depression, and other MH issues.
• Crisis Intervention: Respond to crisis situations with immediate support and coordination with emergency services.
• Education and Coping Strategies: Educate clients on psychological effects and coping strategies.
• Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team: Provide updates on clients' mental health progress.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate progress notes and treatment plans for clinical/insurance needs.
• Ethical Standards: Safeguard confidentiality and adhere to professional guidelines.
