Job summary

Market Street Staffing is seeking a part-time locum APP/NP/PA in Williamsport, PA for inpatient/trauma coverage. Independent contractor (1099) role with EPIC EMR and 90-day credentialing. Travel benefits offered for residents >50 miles.

Position requires board certification and multiple certifications, with at least 2 years trauma experience. The role involves daily rounding, first assist in OR cases (including robotics), consults, and procedures under state guidelines, in collaboration with

PracticeSetting:

• Inpatient and OR coverage
• Trauma and Emergency General surgery
• Responsibilities include:
• Daily rounding
• First assist in OR cases, including robotics
• Consults
• Procedures required including I&Ds, laceration repairs, chest tube placement, and central line placement
• 2 APPs staffed on day shift, 1 APP staffed on night shift
• Work closely with Trauma/Acute Care surgeons

Schedule:

• Part-time coverage
• Day and night coverage needed, 7:00-7:00
• Current coverage needs:
• Jan 1, 7:00p-7:00a

EMR: EPIC

Credentialing: 90 days

Requirements:

• Board certification

Requirements

Education:

• Masterof Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on an NPspecialty (e.g., family practice, adult-gerontology,pediatrics)
• Masterof Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degreefrom an accredited program

Licenses& Certifications:

• Activeand unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse(APRN) license in *
• Nationalcertification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by arecognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy ofNurse Practitioners [AANP])
• Activeand unencumbered physician assistant (PA) license in *
• Nationalcertification from the National Commission onCertification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

Experience:

• Whilespecific requirements may vary, most locum APP positionsprefer candidates with at least one year of experiencein a clinical setting relevant to their specialty
