Job summary

Market Street Staffing in Seattle, WA seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for a long-term permanent coverage role. The position operates under an independent contractor arrangement (1099) with EPIC as the EMR, and credentialing typical within 30–60 days.

Ideal candidates hold WA APRN or PA licenses, board certification, and at least 1 year in neurosurgery. Schedule includes 7:00a-5:00p with call, and travel benefits apply if located far from the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
• Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and APP scope.

Reasonfor Coverage:

• Inpatient, Clinic and Call coverage
• OR coverage would be a plus but not required
• Average 10 PPD

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 7:00a-5:00p
• Rotating night and weekend beeper call
• 12-hour call with AM rounding

Education:

Licenses& Certifications:

• Activeand unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse(APRN) license in Washington
• Nationalcertification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by arecognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy ofNurse Practitioners [AANP])
• Activeand unencumbered physician assistant (PA) license in Washington
• Nationalcertification from the National Commission onCertification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

Experience:

• Whilespecific requirements may vary, most locum APP positionsprefer candidates with at least one year of experiencein a clinical setting relevant to their specialty

Travel:
