Atrium Health Floyd in Rome, Georgia seeks a full-time Trauma & Emergency General Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. The position offers a unique 7 days on / 7 days off schedule and competitive pay ranging from $43.30 to $64.95 per hour, along with a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Level I & Level II trauma activations.
• Round daily with the surgical team.
• Manage inpatient trauma and emergency general surgery patients.
• Complete consults, admissions, and progress notes.
• Perform bedside procedures including chest tubes and FAST exams.
• Participate in weekly trauma clinic coverage.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.

Role Overview

Trauma & Emergency General Surgery Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner – Rome, Georgia.

Full‑time, 40 hrs/week, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 7 days on / 7 days off schedule.

Pay range: $43.30–$64.95 per hour. Sign‑on bonus of $20,000 available.
