Job summary

77 consultants in Myrtle Beach seeks a trauma surgery support clinician for an on-site contract role. You will assist in procedures, perform pre/post-operative assessments, and ensure continuity of care within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include rounding, consults, ICU/ER/OR coverage, and educating patients. Board certification and ACLS/BLS are required; travel and expenses are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies is required.
• Current licensure to practice as an NP or PA in South Carolina.
• Experience in trauma surgery or critical care is preferred.
• Certification in ACLS and BLS is required.
• Level I Trauma certification/experience desirable.

• Assist in trauma surgery procedures as directed by supervising surgeon.
• Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments.
• Perform routine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.

Requirements

Duties: Rounding, consults, ICU, ER, and OR coverage

First assist would be helpful, but is not required

Support Staff: APPs, MAs

EMR: eCW

Must be board-certified
