Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Trauma Stepdown unit. The 17-bed unit operates with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4, delivering care to adult patients with traumatic injuries across multiple body systems.

You will collaborate with the health care team to plan and implement patient care, ensure effective outcomes, and engage in professional growth within a Magnet-designated organization recognized as a top hospital in the region.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience
• Nursing degree required
• TN license or compact license within 60 days of establishing TN address

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyzes comprehensive information to determine nursing diagnosis and care.
• Continually uses the nursing process to evaluate progress and apply interventions.
• Employs strategies to promote health and safe environment.
• Additional duties may be assigned.
