Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville is seeking an experienced registered nurse for the 6 Round Wing, a busy Medical Surgical unit with a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio. You will apply the nursing process, educate patients and families, and coordinate care across the care continuum.

The role features three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00pm–7:00am) with potential weekend work, a Relocation bonus for eligible candidates, and Nurse Student Loan Repayment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• Nursing degree required.
• State or Compact TN RN license within 60 days of establishing TN address.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates delivery across the continuum.
• Analyzes patient information to determine nursing diagnoses.
• Monitors patient progress and adjusts interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Promotes health and a safe environment for patients.
