Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Digestive Disease Institute is hiring an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for Trauma Services at Hillcrest Hospital. The APP will see adult and pediatric patients, with acute care certification requirements and rotating shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities include trauma rounds, ED/ICU duties, and procedures such as line placements and wound repair. ACLS/ATLS/PALS certifications are required or preferred, with strong emphasis on trauma

Qualifications

• MSN required upon hire or within 3 years for APRN hires.
• Graduate of an accredited APRN program.
• Neonatal care area may require Master’s degree on hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical histories and physical exams and develop a diagnostic and treatment plan.
• Perform routine and specialized procedures as credentialed and privileged.
• Prescribe and monitor medications per state license and clinic policy.
• Educate patients and coordinate with multi-disciplinary care team.
• Assist in trauma rounds, ICU/ED coverage, and OR as needed.
