Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a Trauma Sales Associate in Texas to support trauma product sales and patient care initiatives. You will train in our Trauma portfolio and sales methodology, with extensive hands-on OR exposure to become an expert in orthopedic surgical needs.

You will operate in a role that combines field activity with on-call requirements, and you will build strong client relationships while delivering exceptional service to hospitals and surgeons.

Qualifications

• On-call schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Formal training on Trauma product portfolio and sales methodology.
• Observation of 300+ medical procedures in first year.

Position Title: Trauma Sales Associate

Schedule & On-Call Requirements This position requires an on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support trauma cases as they arise. While this level of availability is essential for the role, we understand it may not be suitable for every candidate. Under the supportive supervision of a Trauma Sales Representative, you will gain exposure to the proven winning Stryker Trauma team culture that delivers industry-leading results. You will receive best-in-class formal training on our Trauma product portfolio and sales methodology. This includes on-the-job training in the operating room. You will become an expert on surgical procedures by observing well-over 300 medical procedures in your first year. You will develop a high level of competency in orthopedic surgical needs and procedures and become a valuable member of the surgical team who positively impacts surgical outcomes. You will be comfortable being on call most nights and weekends. You will become a trusted partner to our clients through your focus on client service, excellent account management, and commitment to our mission of improving healthcare. What you need

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s degree or Medical Certification (i.e. CST, PT, CPT, etc.) + at least 2 years of professional and/or related experience
• High School Diploma + at least 4 years of professional and/or related experience
• 4+ years of active duty military service
• $65,000 and eligible to earn commission and/or bonuses + benefits.
• Travel Percentage: 50%

Work Flexibility

• Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.
• Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.
• Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.
• Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
