Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a Field-based Trauma Sales Associate in Springfield, MA. The role requires an on-call schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays to support trauma cases as they arise.

You will train in OR settings and become an expert on surgical procedures and the Trauma product portfolio. You will work under a Trauma Sales Representative, gain hands-on experience, and build relationships with clients while delivering outstanding account management and patient-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s degree or Medical Certification (i.e. CST, PT, CPT), plus at least 2 years of professional and/or related experience.
• High School Diploma + at least 4 years of professional and/or related experience
• 4+ years of active duty military service

Responsibilities

• Support sales of Stryker Trauma products to customers.
• Receive formal training on Trauma product portfolio and sales methodology.
• Observe surgeries in the operating room to become proficient with procedures and equipment.

Why I am Rebuilding Lives As a Trauma Sales Associate, you will work with a high degree of intensity and commitment to support sales of Stryker Trauma products that meet our customers’ most pressing needs. Under the supportive supervision of a Trauma Sales Representative, you will gain exposure to the proven winning Stryker Trauma team culture that delivers industry-leading results. You will receive best-in-class formal training on our Trauma product portfolio and sales methodology. This includes on-the-job training in the operating room. You will become an expert on surgical procedures by observing well-over 300 medical procedures in your first year. You will develop a high level of competency in orthopedic surgical needs and procedures and become a valuable member of the surgical team who positively impacts surgical outcomes. You will be comfortable being on call most nights and weekends. You will become a trusted partner to our clients through your focus on client service, excellent account management, and commitment to our mission of improving healthcare. You will thrive in this role if you are a motivated, proactive, and independent learner, passionate about healthcare and helping people, and committed to building strong relationships as a trusted advisor to our clients.

What you need

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s degree or Medical Certification (i.e. CST, PT, CPT, etc.) + at least 2 years of professional and/or related experience
• High School Diploma + at least 4 years of professional and/or related experience
• 4+ years of active duty military service
• $65,000.00-$75,000.00 salary and eligible to earn commission and/or bonuses + benefits.
• Travel Percentage: 30%

Work Flexibility

• Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.
• Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.
• Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.
• Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
