Qualifications

• Master's degree or 3+ years of research experience.
• Master's degree or five to ten years of experience in the relevant specialization.
• Terminal degree or ten or more years of experience in the relevant specialization.
• Experience with molecular techniques, animal surgery, tissue work up, cell biology.
• Interest in clinically relevant projects that can impact patient outcomes in trauma.
• Able to work independently after guidance is given by the PI.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rodent models of injury (approximately 40% of responsibilities).
• Perform molecular tissue workups derived from trauma models (approximately 20%).
• Conduct cell culture and molecular biology studies on tissues and cells (20%).
• Maintain lab organization (approximately 5%).
• Time spent on data analysis and contributing to papers and research protocols (approximately 15%).
