Job summary

You will perform molecular tissue workups, cell culture and molecular biology studies, maintain lab organization, and contribute to data

Qualifications

• Master's degree or a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of research experience.
• Experience with molecular techniques, animal surgery, tissue work up, cell biology.
• Ability to work independently after guidance from the PI.
• Interest in clinically relevant projects that can impact patient outcomes in trauma.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and execute rodent models of injury (about 40%).
• Perform molecular tissue workups derived from trauma models (about 20%).
• Conduct cell culture and molecular biology–based studies (about 20%).
• Maintain lab organization (about 5%).
• Contribute to data analysis and writing of papers and research protocols (about 15%).
