Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk in eastern Long Island seeks a Trauma Nurse Registry Professional to maintain the trauma registry, collect and enter data, and generate reports for research and quality initiatives. You will support state and regional advisory activities and collaborate with the Trauma Program Manager.

Under supervision, you will export data to NTDB for TQIP benchmarking, coordinate with clinical leaders, and provide monthly statistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and NYS RN license.
• 3-5 years of ICU or Emergency Nursing experience.
• Trauma Registrar coursework within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the trauma registry and enters data promptly.
• Exports data to NY DOH Trauma Registry and NTDB.
• Generates reports for research and quality initiatives.
• Collaborates with Trauma Program Manager and leadership.
• Supports state and regional trauma advisory activities.
