Responsibilities

• Document data and time of attendance at continuing education programs.
• Support the Trauma Program's service management objectives by contributing to data quality and accuracy.
• Perform data abstraction and entry into the trauma registry/database.
• Follow protocol for adding/removing patients to the registry.
• Identify trauma patients by monitoring ED and Admitting Dept. identification systems.
• Conduct audits and quality assurance activities related to trauma data.
• Generate routine monthly reports and respond to special data requests.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with hospital policies.
