The role requires high school completion with 2 years in trauma data management and relevant certifications. Collaboration with trauma leadership and performance-improvement initiatives are key aspects of the position.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in trauma data registry preferred.
• Certifications in trauma data management preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Identify trauma registry patients daily using National Trauma Databank criteria.
• Abstract clinical and administrative data from medical records to meet requirements.
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of trauma registry data.
• Run reports to support process improvements and patient care.
• Participate in data validation and chart auditing processes.
• Consult with physicians for trauma case reporting information.
• Assist with reporting hospital data to relevant agencies.
• Collaborate with trauma leadership to maintain designation status.
• Support performance improvement and injury prevention initiatives with timely data.
