Job summary

You will work with trauma leaders and clinicians to support performance improvement and maintain trauma designation status, leveraging ICD/AIS/ISS knowledge and strong data integrity.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in trauma data management preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD, AIS and ISS coding.
• CSTR or related trauma registry courses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify trauma registry patients daily using inclusion criteria.
• Abstract clinical and administrative data from records.
• Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Generate timely reports for regulatory agencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to obtain reporting data.
• Support program performance improvement initiatives.
