Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator to oversee operations across the trauma program. The role collaborates with the Trauma Program Manager, Trauma Medical Director and multidisciplinary teams to ensure trauma services meet ACS-COT and NJ health department requirements, while driving quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience in critical care, trauma, or emergency nursing.
• Strong communication and computer skills; proficiency with MS Office or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the TPM and TMD to ensure the trauma program provides high quality care per ACS-COT and NJ requirements.
• Monitors policy compliance through chart reviews, staff evaluation and feedback.
• Assists in annual PI reviews and PI plan development.
• Analyzes trauma registry data to support quality improvement processes.
• Coordinates with surgeons, APPs, nurses and other clinicians on patient care and safety issues.
• Represents the trauma program at state, county, hospital and community committees.
