Job summary

Mosaic Life Care in Missouri seeks a Trauma Program Coordinator to develop, implement, and evaluate injury prevention and patient safety education programs. You will track participation, outcomes, and compliance while supporting trauma registry operations and data management.

You will collaborate with the Trauma Medical Director, lead educational initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance across CMS, TQIP/ACS, and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or degree from accredited school. - Required
• Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
• RN license in MO or KS, depending on work location, required upon hire
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required within specified timeframes

Responsibilities

• Regulatory/compliance: knowledge of trauma regulations and strategies for state, CMS, TQIP/ACS and TJC compliance.
• Leadership: annual and ongoing review and revision of standards, order sets and forms; trauma team reviews.
• Education: develop trauma education for nursing staff and providers; coordinate trauma education programs.
• Outreach: collaborate with EMS and facilities; participate in community injury prevention programs.
• Process improvement: monitor and improve trauma processes and regulatory compliance.
• Registry: oversight of trauma registry and IRR processes.
• Trauma rapid response: participate in real-time trauma alerts and time-critical events.
• Other duties as assigned: support ER staff for mass casualty or high-acuity events.
