Job summary

Mosaic Life Care seeks a RN to support the Trauma/Stroke Program Manager in delivering compliant, evidence‑based care and enhancing patient safety across the Mosaic system. The role emphasizes data abstraction, chart review, and statistical reporting to leadership and medical staff.

The incumbent will drive continuous clinical performance improvements, maintain regulatory readiness, and educate ED and critical care personnel while coordinating with multiple facilities and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• RN with state licensure in Missouri or Kansas (as applicable)
• BLS and ACLS required within specified timelines
• PALS and TNCC credentials preferred/required within timeframe
• Experience in emergency/critical care nursing or stroke programs is preferred

Responsibilities

• Regulatory/compliance: knowledge of state, CMS and TJC requirements
• Leadership: review standards, forms, and education programs; stroke team activities; budget oversight
• Education: develop and deliver nursing stroke classes; competency training for ED/CC staff
• Outreach: EMS liaison, stroke education for public, regional Mosaic representation
• Process Improvement: develop indicators, audit records, generate reports, support real-time data needs
• Stroke Registry: manage Get With The Guidelines participation and trend reports
• Stroke Rapid Response: respond to alerts; maintain ER competencies (PALS, ACLS, TNCC)
