Job summary

Nemours Children's Health – Orlando, FL is seeking a Trauma Program Nurse Manager to lead the pediatric trauma program. The role partners with the Trauma Medical Director to ensure high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in patient outcomes.

The position requires an RN license in Florida, a Master’s degree, and at least three years of emergency/trauma experience, with strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Current RN license in Florida or Advanced Practice Provider status.
  • Minimum of three years of emergency and trauma experience; trauma system experience preferred.
  • American Heart Association BLS required upon hire.

Position Overview

The Trauma Program Nurse Manager is a registered nurse leader who organizes and oversees the services and systems essential to a multidisciplinary approach in caring for injured pediatric patients. Working in partnership with the Trauma Medical Director, this leader ensures the highest standards of care, compliance with state trauma system regulations, and continuous improvement in patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Position Requirements
  • Current RN license in the State of Florida or Advance Practice Provider status
  • Master's degree required.
  • Minimum of three years of emergency and trauma experience; trauma system experience preferred
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical abilities
  • American Heart Association BLS required upon hire
