Ascension Health in Nashville, TN, seeks a Trauma Program Leader to supervise the Trauma Clinical Program and drive performance improvements within the department. You will ensure regulatory compliance and lead policy updates in collaboration with hospital leadership.

How you’ll make an impact in this role
Demonstrates core organizational values, sets clear expectations, coaches staff for professional growth, and guides teams through shifting priorities.
Supervises Trauma Clinical Program staff, drives performance improvement initiatives, and ensures compliant billing practices for activation charges.
Monitors and adheres strictly to all local, regional, state, and national trauma program regulations and clinical care standards.
Directs the routine review and revision of all trauma policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines at least every three years.
Manages all preparation, documentation, and operational readiness for HFC trauma designation verification visits.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
One or more of the following:
Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted. Required if working in adult critical care setting.

What additional preferences we're seeking
3+ years of Emergency Department, Trauma ICU, Trauma Acute Care Nursing experience required
2+ years working in a prior Trauma Program Leadership role required
TNCC Provider or Instructor certification obtained within 12 months of hire date
STN TOPIC course completed within 12 months of hire date
ATS Trauma Program Management course completed within 12 months of hire date
