Job summary

Texas Health Alliance is seeking an RN Trauma Coordinator for full-time days to lead trauma services and ensure evidence-based patient care. You will work with physicians and staff to advance quality outcomes in a busy North Fort Worth area hospital.

The role requires ADN, preferred BSN, and 5 years RN Med/Surg or Critical Care experience, with required certifications and a strong focus on education and process improvement.

Qualifications

• RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing.
• BCLS – required prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• ACLS, PALS – required within 90 days of hire.
• ENPC, ATCN, TNCC – required within 6 months of hire.
• ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and vision for the trauma program(s) in operations, services, and patient care.
• Leads and directs achievement in quality care for identified patient populations with staff and physicians.
• Communicates findings of case reviews and abstractions to leadership.
• Develops and maintains partnerships to support care delivery implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinates educational opportunities for staff, physicians, patients, external providers, and the community.
• Participates in Process Improvement committees to coordinate patient care.
