Job summary

Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to join the ED Resource Team on a full-time, day shift. Three 12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, in a Magnet-designated 851-bed Level I Trauma Center.

Requires a Nursing Diploma or ADN (BSN preferred), 1 year RN experience or RN residency, and RN licensure upon hire. BCLS, ACLS, CPI, and PALS are required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• 1 year RN experience or completion of an RN residency program required.
• RN license required upon hire; BCLS, ACLS, CPI, and PALS within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient; plans care; intervenes as needed; evaluates outcomes.
• Implements age-specific safety and infection control measures.
• Provides information to patients and families; ensures continuity of care across shifts and facilities.
