Candidates must have BSN or higher, current RN license in IL, BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC/TNCC, and at least three years in emergency nursing. The position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current licensure State Board of Nurse Examiners.
• BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• PALS (AHA) or ENPC certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• TNCC required.
• Minimum of three years in emergency nursing and in the care of trauma patients.

Responsibilities

• Organize services and systems for multidisciplinary trauma care.
• Direct day-to-day operations of the Trauma Program.
• Promote optimal trauma care through education, QA, and administrative activities.
• Coordinate with EMS and regulatory agencies and trauma team.
• Maintain communication across departments from pre-hospital care to discharge.
