Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS-HCP certification on hire or within 60 days with approval.
• Three years of relevant RN experience.
• Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Certification appropriate for unit or service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned program, discuss with physicians and nurses, ensure care meets guidelines, provide patient education during hospitalization.
• Actively participate in patient care rounds.
• Collaborate with the director to ensure regulatory compliance, perform chart reviews and data analysis for improvement.
• Develop and implement evidence-based policies, promote professional development for providers and students.
• Maintain data on the program, serve as SME, create a Quality Assurance program.
• Promote mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health and adhere to standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Registered Nurse license in state of practice

BLS-HCP certification

Three years RN experience

Master's degree in Nursing

Certification as appropriate for unit or service
