Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to deliver high quality patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions. The CNC partners with management to monitor nursing care and serves as a resource for staff, aiming for an exceptional patient experience.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, assist with admissions/discharges, support improved outcomes, and coach staff to enhance performance and engagement.

Qualifications

• RN license required and active
• CCRN or similar critical care certification preferred
• Trauma or emergency nursing certifications encouraged

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• (CCRN) Critical Care Registered Nurse (Adult), or (TCRN) Trauma Certified Registered Nurse, or (CEN) Certified Emergency Registered Nurse, or Bachelors Degree must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
