Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to deliver high quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions in partnership with the management team. The CNC monitors nursing care and serves as a resource to staff, supporting an unparalleled patient experience.

You will partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality care; assist with admission/discharge; and provide coaching and scheduling support

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state.
• ACLS and BLS required within 30 days of start date.
• ENPC, TNCC and PALS or equivalents to be obtained within defined timeframes.
• Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment with BSN; 90 days to completion.
• Experience in acute care and critical care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes to streamline patient flow.
• Partner with leadership to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling and coverage to ensure unit needs are met.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• (CCRN) Critical Care Registered Nurse (Adult), or (TCRN) Trauma Certified Registered Nurse, or (CEN) Certified Emergency Registered Nurse, or Bachelors Degree must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
