Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, OH is seeking an RN for the Trauma/Neuro Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on a full-time basis. The role runs 36 hours per week, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., requiring the applicant to hold an active Ohio RN license and ACLS/BLS certifications. Experience in critical or progressive care is preferred.

You will provide patient-centered nursing care, coordinate resources, and support families while maintaining high standards of safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ADN required, BSN preferred; Ohio RN license current.
• ACLS required within six weeks of hire; BLS current.
• Prior critical care or progressive care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinate and delegate nursing care in PCU.
• Manage resources and collaborate with patients and families.
• Uphold safety and infection control in a high-acuity unit.
