Summa Health Medical Group is seeking a Neurocritical Care physician to join our neuroscience institute in Akron, Ohio. This employed position offers inpatient care with a flexible 7-on/7-off block for 23 weeks per year, and both full-time and part-time options.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team including Neurosurgery, Stroke, Endovascular, and Critical Care Trauma to deliver advanced neurological care. Academic appointment through NEOMed may be available; Epic EMR is in use.

Qualifications

• Board certification and/or eligibility in Neurology.
• Board certification and/or eligibility in Neurocritical Care.
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Ohio (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill neurological patients in a dedicated Neuro ICU with collaboration across Neurosurgery, Stroke, Endovascular, and Critical Care Trauma teams.
• Work on a flexible 7-on/7-off block schedule for 23 weeks per year.
• Participate in clinical research, quality initiatives, and program development; academic appointment available through Northeast Ohio Medical University.

The position offers inpatient coverage on a flexible 7-on/7-off block schedule for 23 weeks per year, promoting both work-life balance and continuity of care. Candidate Qualifications

• Board certification and/or eligibility in Neurology
