Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Trauma/Neuro ICU RN for a 4x12 night shift assignment in California. Requires 3+ years of trauma and neuro ICU experience with an active CA RN license, plus BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC/TCAR certifications.

Cerner charting experience and Nursys report are required; supervisory reference and ICU skills are essential. Position includes travel with generous benefits, housing options, and potential for orientation at floated facilities within the service line.

Qualifications

• CA RN license required; active and in good standing.
• 3+ years of trauma and neuro ICU experience, with Trauma Level II (I preferred).
• Cerner charting experience; recent Nursys report; supervisory reference.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC/TCAR certifications; CPI or MAB preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing in a 4x12 night shift in a Trauma ICU setting.
• Care for trauma and neuro ICU patients; 1:2 staffing; float within service line to nearby facility.
• Adhere to unit protocols, accurate charting, and orientation requirements.
• Support during massive transfusion protocol and CNS/neurosurgical care as needed.
