Job summary

Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso, TX, is seeking a trauma surgeon for either full-time or part-time in a Level II trauma hospital. Board-certified or board-eligible in surgical critical care and/or trauma is required, with ATLS certification and Texas licensure eligibility.

APP support is provided, with 15 shifts per month for full-time or 5–10 shifts for part-time. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered, along with CME/dues, relocation assistance and no state income tax.

Job Summary:

Del Sol Medical Center is seeking a full time or part time trauma surgeon board certified or board eligible in surgical critical care and/or trauma for a Level II trauma hospital.

Qualified Candidates:

• Board certified in general surgery and board certified/board eligible in surgical critical care and/or trauma


• New Graduates welcome to apply


• Eligible for License to practice in the state of Texas


• ATLS certified required


• Full Time 15 shifts per month primary in-house coverage, (7A-7P or 7P-7A)


• Part Time 5-10 shifts per month primary in-house coverage, (7A-7P or 7P-7A)


• APP support provided


• 2025 Registry Volume 1730, Trauma Admissions 1206, Blunt 95%, Penetrating 4%.


• Avg. 3.4 trauma alerts per day
