Job summary

Baptist Health in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Trauma/General Med/Surg RN to lead nursing staff on the third shift, ensuring quality and continuity of patient care. You will apply the nursing process in assessments, planning, and interventions in collaboration with physicians.

The role requires an active RN license and a nursing degree, BSN preferred. Certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC) may be required depending on area.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of care interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• May have additional duties assigned within scope of the role.
