Job summary

Baptist Health in Montgomery, AL, seeks a Registered Nurse for our 3rd shift in the Medical Center East med/surg unit. You will supervise nursing staff on shift, plan and implement patient care using the nursing process, and work with physicians and clinicians to ensure quality outcomes.

Required is an active RN license and a nursing degree; BSN is preferred. The role is regular full-time with potential area-based certification requirements and weekend/holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure is required; BLS may be required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record safety and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, planning of care, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to plan and implement patient care.
