In this role, you will educate patients and families, ensure accurate EMR documentation, and contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives while upholding high standards of trauma and med-surg nursing.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with trauma and medical-surgical nursing knowledge.
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and clinical escalation.
• Competence in medication administration, IV therapy, and wound/post-op care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per clinical standards.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and vital sign changes.
• Manage wounds and support post-operative care.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and safety.
• Ensure accurate, timely EMR documentation.
