HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Trauma Med/Surg Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care in a high-acuity environment. You will assess, monitor, educate, and advocate for patients and families while aligning with evidence-based nursing practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing (ADN or higher).
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the practicing state or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support Health Care Provider certification.
• At least 6 months RN work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record; administer medications and monitor responses.
• Provide timely responses to patient needs and educate patients, families and caregivers.
• Translate complex medical terminology to patients to ensure understanding of condition and plan.
