Job summary

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the 5 Central Medical/Surgical/Stroke Unit. You will work with physicians and the care team to deliver compassionate care and document activities in the medical record.

This full-time role involves 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) with rotating weekends and holidays, requiring Florida RN licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing (ASN or higher).
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
• A current BLS Health Care Provider certification is required.
• At least 6 months of RN experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with unit standards.
• Assess patient condition at admission and during shifts; report changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and follow‑ups.
