Job summary

Open Door Youth Services in Floyd County, Indiana, seeks a licensed or license-eligible Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy in a trauma-informed residential setting. This role works collaboratively with youth, families, residential staff, and community partners to promote healing, resilience, and successful outcomes.

This position emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, crisis intervention, and thorough clinical documentation while aligning with Open Door's Restorative

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
• Indiana licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent) or eligibility for supervised licensure.
• Experience with youth in residential treatment or behavioral health preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, CBT, family systems, and crisis intervention.
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to complete background checks, CPR, and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, social skills, and trauma recovery.
• Collaborate with residential staff, case managers, schools, courts, medical providers, and other partners to coordinate care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and discharge planning.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed support as needed.
• Educate and support families throughout treatment.
• Participate in professional development and staff training.
• Support Open Door's Trauma-Informed Treatment: The Restorative Approach model.
