Job summary

Casa Grande Academy in Casa Grande, AZ seeks a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for a full-time, on-site role. You will provide individual, group, and family counseling to youth and their caregivers using trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches, and conduct clinical assessments to inform treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (or equivalent state-recognized license such as LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in Arizona, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
• Experience with trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions for youth.
• Experience with working with youth and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and comply with regulatory/ethical standards.
• Strong communication, active listening, and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling to youth and their caregivers using trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct clinical assessments, develop and update treatment plans.
• Document progress notes and coordinate care with internal and external providers.
• Engage in case management activities, connecting clients and families to community resources.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Contribute to program development and quality improvement.
• Crisis intervention and psychoeducation for clients and families may be required.
