Job summary

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience with trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions for youth.
  • Experience with working with youth and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and comply with regulatory/ethical standards.
  • Strong communication, active listening, and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary team.

Role Description

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor is a full-time, on-site role located in Casa Grande, AZ. This position involves providing individual, group, and family counseling to youth and their caregivers using trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, developing and updating treatment plans, documenting progress notes, and coordinating care with internal and external providers. The counselor will engage in case management activities, such as connecting clients and families to community resources and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings. Additional duties may include crisis intervention, psychoeducation for clients and families, and contribution to program development and quality improvement.

Qualifications
  • Clinical planning competencies, including strong skills in Treatment Planning and Case Management.
  • Solid foundation in Mental Health and Psychology to support trauma-focused, evidence-based interventions.
  • Experience with Relationship Counseling, including work with youth and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (or equivalent state-recognized license such as LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in Arizona, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and comply with regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Strong communication, active listening, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience with trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and evidence-based practices for children and adolescents is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with community resources and systems of care in Arizona and willingness to engage families in treatment.
