Marygrove is seeking a Youth Specialist to supervise and engage youth in the Emergency Placement Program. The role includes implementing program policies and requires 48 hours of on-call scheduling each month.

This full-time position operates in the morning shift (7am-3pm). Responsibilities include day-to-day program operations, implementing youth service plans, providing educational support, and maintaining accurate reports and documentation.

Aufgaben

• Implements day-to-day operation of the Emergency Placement Program.
• Implement the service plan of the youth.
• Implement educational options to ensure youth are receiving educational support.
• Provides engagement with youth through creative, supportive, and recreational outlets.
• Maintains effective communication with other staff, in-charge personnel, supervisor, on-campus therapeutic team.
• Completes required reports accurately and timely and maintains required documentation.
• Completes all incident reports, individual logs and unit logs.
• Monitors and cares for all residents when they are not in school.
• Administers and logs all medications according to the schedule.
• Prepares all meals for residents.
• Ensures residents follow daily schedules and that tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
• Ensures all areas of the unit are clean.
• Transports residents as needed.
• Notifies appropriate personnel in emergencies.
• Attends training and weekly team meetings.
• Completes required annual trainings.
• Gives accurate report of activities during shift to the incoming co-worker.
• Ensures youth rooms are clean daily.
• Ensures youth are properly dressed for weather and hygiene needs.
• Contributes to data collection and outcomes for quality improvement.
