Job summary

Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. is hiring Residential Counselors to work in our Springfield, MA program. You will support youth in therapeutic group homes, implement treatment plans, and model daily living activities with structure and routine.

Full-time schedules are available. A strong candidate will have trauma-informed care knowledge, effective communication with families, schools, and community partners, and the ability to assess and respond to situations with initiative.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; experience in youth services preferred.
• Understanding of trauma-informed care principles.
• Adult & Child CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred (training provided).
• Must pass CORI & DCF background checks and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with residents in therapeutic group homes to implement treatment plans.
• Model activities of daily living through structure and routine.
• Support collaboration with families, schools, DCF, DMH and community partners.
