Job summary

Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. (NCYF) is seeking enthusiastic Residential Counselors to join our Residential Services team. You will work closely with youth in therapeutic group homes to guide them to success while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.

Full-time schedules are available. If you are seeking meaningful work that will help you gain experience in social services, NCYF provides that opportunity.

Qualifications

• Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with trauma-informed care principles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Guide residents in therapeutic group homes toward success while maintaining boundaries.
• Implement treatment plans and activities of daily living using structure and routine.
• Support the program’s trauma-informed care philosophy and collaborate with families, schools and community supports.
